The GIGAEurope launch event will feature representatives from the European Commission and the European Parliament as well as executives from the gigabit connectivity industry.

Panel

A panel will exchange ideas on what is needed to further increase the rollout of gigabit networks and uptake of secure and reliable digital services. It will consider what it takes to make the shift to a gigabit society economically viable, green and inclusive, as well as ask what we can learn from the impact of COVID-19.

The panel will be moderated by Jennifer Baker, Freelance EU Correspondent. Speakers of the panel are:
