FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEContact: CTAM Europe Receives Industry Recognition for Accomplishments Board Honored for its Innovative Approach in Zürich, Switzerland – 8 December, 2004 – CTAM Europe, the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing in Europe, announced that it recently was recognized with two industry awards for accomplishments tied to the launch of the organization earlier this year. Specifically, the organization’s co-chairpersons, Jude Blake, Chief Marketing Officer and Director of the Consumer Business Unit, for cablecom GmbH in Switzerland and Jim Helfgott, Vice President, Sales and Marketing for HBO Central Europe were highlighted in Informa Media’s list of 50 of the most influential executives in the European broadband and pay-TV industries. The organization also recently received the CTAM Innovator Award for its delivery of the first-ever cable marketing Euro-Summit held this past September in Budapest, Hungary. Informa Media’s list of most influential executives in the broadband & pay-TV industries is developed annually. Designates represent executives from throughout Europe, chosen based upon their accomplishments in furthering the development of the media industry. The Innovator Award, sponsored by CTAM National based in North America, recognizes the use of innovative and superior approaches to the delivery of cable marketing programs among the organization’s chapters. CTAM Europe co-chair Jude Blake noted, “We feel extremely honored to have been recognized by our peers in this way. The recognition reinforces our belief that a cable marketing organization designed to facilitate networking as well as the sharing of best practices, is extremely important to the European cable industry today.
