CTAM Europe Membership Policy

CTAM Europe members are engaged, involved and empowered. Become a member and we'll fill your professional toolkit to the brim with the resources you need to thrive in the new broadband economy. Following are the guidelines governing membership.

  1. Membership Options

Membership shall be open to any individual or firm engaged in the management or marketing areas of the cable television industry, including multi-system operators ("MSO's") and systems, programmers, and suppliers of equipment and services to the cable television industry, but not including direct broadcast satellite, incumbent local exchange carriers as of July 1, 2005, electric utilities or municipally-owned cable systems, and subsidiaries and affiliates of the foregoing. Membership is required in order to participate in events organized by CTAM Europe. The membership levels are as follows:
    • Individual Membership: An "individual member" is a single person from an organization, who joins CTAM Europe. The cost of an annual individual membership is € 300.

The individual owns the membership. The membership cannot be transferred to another individual without consent of the owner. Other data however can be changed with no restrictions such as name of employer, email address, etc.

    • Corporate Membership: A "corporate member" is designed for organizations that have 15 plus members join CTAM Europe. The cost of an annual corporate membership is: € 850 for the first three individuals, and € 170 for each additional member (known as affiliated members).

The company owns the Corporate Memberships. The membership can be transferred to another person within the given company on the request of the company contact person.
  2. Special Pricing Considerations

Current CTAM US members will be given a 50% discount on their CTAM Europe individual membership, and will pay only € 150.

Strategic Sponsors receive a designated number of free corporate memberships, as defined in the sponsorship agreement. These memberships start 30 days after the signature of the sponsorship agreement. They are valid for 12 months, and all corporate membership rules apply.

  3. Expiration

All memberships are valid for a period of 12 months from the date when they are issued a password and ID. This information is sent to the member via e-mail on the day it is assigned.

After the membership expires, CTAM Europe will provide access to the "Members Only" section of the CTAM Europe website for one month (30 days).

CTAM Europe distributes two electronic e-mail notices about membership expiration. The first one is issued 30 days prior to the expiration date. The second is sent when the access to the "Members Only" section of the CTAM Europe website expires, or 30 days after membership has expired.

  4. Communication

CTAM Europe distributes electronic and hard copy communication to its members regarding events, offers and resources that may be of interest.

  5. Privacy Policy

CTAM Europe protects the Privacy of Your Personally Identifiable Information. CTAM Europe understands the importance of safeguarding your personally identifiable information.
