Mayte Ojea
Corporate Communications Manager - Multicanal

Mayte joined Multicanal in 2000 and is responsible for PPRR strategy of the thematic channels in the Iberian market, developing and implementing the communication strategy as well as the launching of new channels.

Before joining Multicanal Mayte worked in the healthcare field (Empresa Publica de Emergencias Sanitarias ) as a Public Affairs Head (1996-2000), and as an account manager at the PPRR agency working in the High Tech market (1993-1996).

Mayte has a Masters from the University of Missouri in Business Communication.

Multicanal is a division of Chellomedia, the content division of Liberty Global, and produces and distributes in Spain and Portugal digital tv channels: Canal Hollywood (cinema), Canal de Historia, Canal Cocina (cooking), Odisea (documentary), Sol Música (music), The Biography Channel, Canal Panda ( kids channel), and Decasa (D&Y).
