John O'Loan
Chief Executive Officer - iO Media Group LLP|TV WorldNet Limited

Since the launch of the "satellite revolution" in 1989, when he was responsible for the launch of the Sky News channel across Europe, John O'Loan has been active in the development of more than 30 of the news, sports, entertainment, documentary, and general interest channels appearing on satellite and cable platforms in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Australia. These include BSkyB, the National Geographic Channels, the Fox Channels, Sky Italia, chellomedia, STAR TV Group, Middle East Broadcasting, NDTV, and Setanta Sports.

After his studies into organizational culture and media scenario-building at Templeton College, Oxford University, and the HEC in Paris, John founded the iO Media Group to help move the thinking and practices of "old media" into a brave, new, and more secure world.

The iO Media Group developed the Media Matrix to help explain the likely outcome of regional changes within current and future media. John retains hands-on involvement in media development around the world with a varied client list and a continuing academic interest through The Change Leaders community of practice.
