Jill Grinda
Director of Worldwide Distribution - EuroNews

August 6, 2007 Jill Grinda was appointed Director of Worldwide Distribution of EuroNews. Ms. Grinda has twenty years of international sales, distribution, marketing, public relations and journalism experience working with major multinational media and financial corporations, government and statutory authorities.

From May 2005, Ms. Grinda was Regional Director Distribution for Al Jazeera English. Based in Paris, she was responsible for distribution of the channel throughout Europe and Asia.

From 2000 to 2005, she was Regional Director Southern and Eastern Europe and Benelux for CNBC Europe in Paris.

Working between 1995 and 1999 for Bloomberg LP, Ms. Grinda started as Communications Director then Multimedia Distribution Director Asia-Pacific in Sydney before being TV Production Director for Bloomberg TV in Paris.

Ms. Grinda was Public Affairs Manager for American Express International in Sydney from 1993-1995 and TV Publicist for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation from 1992-1993. She came to France in 1989 as a freelance PR consultant and journalist for Australian magazines and newspapers. Ms. Grinda started her career in Melbourne as Public Relations officer of the International Wool Secretariat.

Born in Perth, Australia, Ms. Grinda has a Masters in Arts Management (EAC Paris), a Certificate in Financial Markets (Securities Institute of Australia, Sydney) and a Diploma of Business Studies, Communication (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology).

Ms. Grinda additionally holds positions on the Boards of CTAM Europe and the French chapter of ABIE (Australian Business in Europe).
