Dr. Dorothea von Wichert-Nick
Manager - Solon Management Consulting GmbH & Co. KG

Dr. Dorothea von Wichert-Nick is manager and head of the telecom practice group at Solon Management Consulting. Her project work includes M&A support as well as new business development (strategy development, Internet, telephony, implementation) for cable operators, telcos, media companies and their investors. Besides her project work for cable operators, Dorothea has also co-authored the European Cable Survey both in 2004 and 2005.

Prior to Solon, Dorothea spent three years at Deutsche Telekom, where she acted as group leader within the strategy department.

Dorothea holds a diploma in industrial engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt. Her PhD thesis focused on the development of competition in the local telecommunications market.

A strategy consultancy, Solon Management Consulting works within the branches of media and telecommunications. As such, Solon offers long-standing, extensive experience from its work with many clients in fixed-line and mobile telecommunications, and it is the leading consultancy for the European broadband industry.
