Brad Gunn
Managing Director of Marketing & Sales - UPC Broadband
Brad
Gunn is responsible for developing the strategic direction of UPC's marketing and
sales program. Working with UPC's operating units, Brad oversees the development
and implementation of the company's product, marketing, acquisition, and retention
programs, as well as the ongoing evaluation and improvement of such programs
to ensure the company achieves it business objectives.
From 1998–2003, Brad was in Tokyo as VP of Marketing & Sales, Liberty Media.
He supervised all aspects of marketing, sales and product development for Liberty Media' Japanese
affiliate, Jupiter Telecommunications. Jupiter is Japan's largest cable broadband company
providing cable television, digital telephone, and high-speed Internet services.
From 1997–1998 Brad was based in London as the Director of Sales Strategy for Consumer
Markets, Cable and Wireless. Responsible for developing the sales strategy with supporting
budget, sales organization and implementation plan for the company's newly established
Consumer Markets Division. Integrated the residential sales organizations of the four
merged companies to form CWC into one cohesive organization covering all aspects of direct
sales, telemarketing, retail sales and sales administration.
From 1989–1996, Brad was VP of Marketing and Sales at Bell Cablemedia & Jones International;
working in England and Spain. He developed and oversaw the implementation of residential
marketing and sales programs in the company's English and Spanish cable operations.
In this role worked directly with Pacific Telesis, US West, Bell Canada, and NYNEX
Communications.
From 1981–1989 Brad was with Jones Intercable where he worked in a number of key
marketing and product roles as the company grew from 150,000 subscribers to more than 1.2 million.
