John Rossiter
New Business Development

John Rossiter is Vice President of Business Development for HBO in Central and Eastern Europe. HBO is the best known premium pay television brand in the world. HBO Central Europe is a joint venture between HBO Inc., Disney and Sony Pictures Entertainment providing premium and basic programming to cable TV and satellite TV platforms in 10 countries in Central Europe. In his current role, John is responsible for the development of new services in existing markets as well as the geographic expansion of HBO. He is a member of the HBO senior management team.

Prior to joining HBO, John has had over 8 years experience in the media industry. John worked for two of the largest media companies in the world, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Buena Vista Television International, whilst based in London.

John joined HBO in Central Europe in 2004 helping them to expand into three new countries, as well as launch the second premium brand in the HBO bouquet, Cinemax.

John resides in Budapest. Enjoys golf, music, road-running, and snowboarding.
